What is the difference between AquaClass and Concierge Class?
Concierge Class is a veranda stateroom with added service touches — priority embarkation, upgraded bedding and amenities, and a dedicated concierge. AquaClass is spa-oriented: spa-facing locations, complimentary access to the thermal suite, and its own restaurant, Blu, which Concierge guests cannot use. On most sailings AquaClass is the better value of the two.
Is The Retreat worth the money?
It is if you will use it. The Retreat buys a private restaurant (Luminae), a private lounge and sundeck, and a butler — effectively a small luxury ship inside a premium one. If you plan to be off the ship or in the main venues most of the time, you are paying for space you will not occupy, and an AquaClass room plus a few specialty dinners usually delivers more.
What is a guarantee stateroom?
A guarantee means you book the stateroom class and Celebrity assigns the specific room later, sometimes close to sailing. You are guaranteed at least that class and may be assigned better, but you give up all control over deck, location and layout. It suits flexible travellers on a budget and is a poor choice if location matters to you.
